R.J. & Associates has prepared and provided Asbestos Awareness Training for the various work crews of the City of Vancouver Engineering Services: Waterworks Operations Branch; Streets Operations Branch; Electrical and Traffic Operations Branch; and Sewers Operations Branch. The Asbestos Awareness Training is a three-hour in-class training session to equip participants with knowledge to understand the risks associated with asbestos, the type of materials suspect to contain asbestos, what to do in the event of a disturbance or spill, and the components and function of the Asbestos Management Program. In addition, R.J. & Associates has prepared and provided Asbestos Abatement Training to select work crews of the City of Vancouver Engineering Services: Waterworks Operation Branch; Sewer Operations Branch; and Streets Operations Branch. The Asbestos Abatement Training is a two-day course consisting of six hours of in-class lecture and ten hours of hands-on training.
